We recently celebrated the best Australian designers at the IDEA awards, organised by leading design website Australian Design Review.

As the Gold Medal sponsor, we had the honor to attend the long awaited design party and to announce the Gold Medal award winners.

We’d like to congratulate Jonathan Richards and Kirsten Stanisich from Richards Stanisich interior design and architecture practice, Gold Medallists, for winning the most prestigious award in recognition of their remarkable career and all participants and winners for their amazing achievement.

And the IDEA Gold Medal Winner is...

Congratulations to Meryl Hare, founder of Hare + Klein Interior Design, for taking the Gold Medal at the 2020 Idea Awards last Friday.

It was with great honour that we joined Australian Design Review for the 3rd consecutive year to announce the Gold Medal Winner at the much anticipated party of the year.

This special award recognises a person who has made an influential and enduring contribution to Australian design culture over the course of their career.

The judges remarked on Meryl Hare’s more than three decades in the industry and incredible contribution, particularly to residential spaces, which bring joy to those who inhabit her creations.

We’d like to congratulate Meryl for her outstanding work and career, along with all the winners and participants and thank them for their patience in such uncertain times.

Carly Krost and IDEA Chat All Things Awards and Post-Covid Office Design Trends

As a Gold Medal Sponsor for the 3rd consecutive year and in anticipation of the 2020 IDEA Awards gala, Carly Krost, our A&D manager, was interviewed by Australian Design Review to chat about the upcoming awards and the office design trends in a post-Covid normal.

We’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate all participants for persevering through a particularly challenging year and presenting awe-inspiring entries that have without a doubt made it incredibly difficult for the judges to select the shortlisted candidates.
