Kingsmede: A Sleek & Cohesive Design

Located in the heart of Sydney's CBD, Kingsmedes’ office pulls you into a future with its sleek and cohesive design that is carried throughout all three levels of the office. The Kingsmede team have successfully implemented a clean black and white colour palette that perfectly complements the natural lighting and green highlights situated throughout the space. 

The new office encapsulates the essence of a modern workspace characterised by black and white accents through our Keywork workstations and Zak chairs. Combining visual appeal with functionality, the open office is complete with Trak planters, Sparki in desk power and Globe pedestals for storage. 

Our Zak chairs and Halo tables are featured throughout the space and in all meeting rooms and boardrooms that vary in size and finish to create cohesive yet distinctive meeting environments.

The Kingsmede team has successfully designed a sleek minimalist workspace that instills collaboration and productivity across all three levels.

An Office That Exudes Modern Appeal

Blending contemporary finishes with a unique design, EVY Professional’s new Melbourne office exudes modern appeal.

Upon entry, our Nest coffee tables in black stained wood welcome visitors while perfectly complimenting the surrounding interior finishes of the reception space

The office features light accents mixed with dark timber finishes as seen on our Elki workstations for more individual and collaborative work. Matched with Trak desk mounted rails, Trak open storage boxes, Trak acoustic and environmental panels, Space chairs and Globe mobile pedestals for storage, a workspace which enhances productivity and dynamism is created. 

Moving through the space, our Sofi ottomans in a trendy musk and lilac upholstery blend together to form soft seating areas for employees. Our Sofi ottomans are mobile in design, allowing staff to move and create their own work environment based on their needs and requirements. Custom joinery was crafted into the landscape throughout with integrated hinge door cupboards and a kitchen unit in Maison Oak Polytec finish. Functional additions of sleek built-in storage and fridge compartments ensure employees wellbeing is considered and established. 

The meeting room does not stray from the cohesive themes used throughout the open space. Featuring our Cosmopolitan round table and custom joinery cupboard, a contemporary environment is created, perfect for informal and formal settings.

With a focus on creating a modern functional working environment, the executive office features our Miro S Leather chair, paired with a built-in joinery unit fitting the interior effortlessly.  

The training room features a wall mounted cupboard in Estella Oak finish, enhancing the cohesiveness in the modern aesthetic seen across the office space.

EVY Professional’s new office space effectively establishes a contemporary working environment by the curation of furniture, finishes and aesthetic.

Our 2021 Biggest Morning Tea

June 30, 2021

Our Sydney and Melbourne teams recently held their 6th annual Biggest Morning Teas to raise funds for the Cancer Council.

Delicious homemade cakes, warm tea, and lots of smiles and laughter filled the room resulting in a fun morning held for a great cause.

Our teams made every cup count, raising over $1,200 towards cancer research, prevention and support programs.

Thanks to both teams for their fantastic effort!

End of Financial Year Fast Approaching

The end of financial year is fast approaching and for many businesses, there’s now an opportunity to use up the yearly capital expense budget and finalise their expenses before 30 June 2021.

To help businesses recover from the impact of COVID-19, the government has updated the instant asset write-off conditions for eligible businesses and has introduced temporary full expensing.

What does it mean?

Temporary full expensing allows eligible businesses to deduct the full cost of eligible depreciating assets of any value, in the year they are first held, first used or installed ready for use for a taxable purpose. 

The cost of improvements to existing eligible depreciating assets made during this period can also be fully deducted.

Who is eligible?

Any business with an aggregated turnover of less than $5 billion is eligible to use temporary full expensing. An alternative income test applies for corporate tax entities with an aggregated turnover of more than $5 billion.

Your business can immediately deduct the business portion of the cost of eligible new depreciating assets, and cost of improvements to existing assets, in their 2020-21 and 2021-22 income tax returns.

For businesses with an aggregated turnover of less than $50 million, temporary full expensing also applies to the business portion of eligible second-hand depreciating assets.

Bayside City Council - Youth Centre Opening

With the recent opening of Bayside City Council’s Youth Centre, we had the opportunity to assist in creating a warm and inviting space for their visitors. The centre aims to provide a safe place where young people can enjoy a range of activities and engage with service providers for support.

A palette of orange, yellow, green and brown reminiscent of autumn cover our Sofi ottomans, providing soft seating areas. Adapting to the curved architectural details of the room, our Sofi ottomans were custom designed in shape to wrap seamlessly around the wall creating an eclectic and earthy yet welcoming environment.

Cohesive in design, Sofi ottoman settings are featured throughout different rooms, coupled with Dart organic coffee tables creating layers of visual interest at every turn.

Completing the centre are our Jive tables with bench seating and Jive counter table paired with Pac stools to further enhance the space, nurturing connection and collaboration.

Special consideration for visitors and their range of needs within the Bayside City Council Youth Centre is evident in the variety of settings provided. By allowing freedom and functionality within the space, one is able to utilise it to its best ability whilst maintaining a level of comfortability.

A Refreshing Break for Tabcorp Granville

With over 300 employees working at their Granville office, Tabcorp set off to create a new lunch room and breakout area for their team.

The large space was transformed into a variety of breakout areas to accommodate for each and every style. A traditional style cafeteria was created in the kitchen where a combination of Wiz Terrazzo, Halo cafe tables and easily cleanable and stackable Poppi chairs were selected, creating a space that is easily modular. The Jive counter table and Zorro stools allow for more casual catch-ups and on-the-go lunches.

Moving through the space, our Sofi ottomans in various shapes and Nest coffee tables come together to create a laid back soft seating area. Mobile in design, Sofi ottomans allow staff to move and design their own space based on their requirements.

Escaping the buzz of the office is made possible thanks to pods of Hush high back lounges and Byte coffee tables for those wanting a more intimate and private space.

On the busiest days, when stepping away from their desk seems impossible, or personal work needs to be achieved, employees can take their work to the S-shape Curve work booth where high upholstered panels surround powered desktops in a private acoustic setting.

The addition of Classic banquet seats and Halo café tables offers staff a beautiful, comfortable and versatile space suited to team lunches or meetings alike and facilitating collaboration and connection.

Transforming a space that had been untouched for many years into a break haven for their employees, the team at Tabcorp successfully considered every scenario designing a space that is inviting and functional and responds to every need.

An Inviting New Space Revealed

March 17, 2021

With functionality and aesthetics at top of mind, the team set out to create an inviting new workspace for ATE Tankers.

Opting for a minimalist scheme inspired by natural tones, a consistent palette featuring light wood, black, grey and hints of khaki were extended throughout the office landscape.

Keywork workstations paired with Hana chairs and Local screens feature in the open office, while Keywork desks and Miro S chairs stand out in the executive spaces. Storage was also high priority with a selection of custom made bookcases and storage units being carefully crafted for the space.

The staff lunchroom was brought to life with a custom made kitchen that integrates a mix of bench space, storage and a counter for the team. Poppi chairs, Indi stools, Mix bench seating and Halo tables further enhance the space, providing an enticing breakout zone.

No space was overlooked, the meeting areas also looking exceptional, dressed with beautiful grey FortyFour Chairs around Dart tables, while the reception welcomes guests with Hugo Lounges and Byte Coffee tables.

The impressive mix of furniture selections and finishes blend together to create a striking yet timeless office that will serve ATE Tankers for years to come.
